Awesome Pride & Groom is a professional, fully insured dog grooming and pet-care business offering a personal, welfare-focused service in a calm rural setting.

I provide one-to-one grooming, giving every dog my full attention and tailoring their experience to their individual coat, temperament and needs. I am City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 qualified, canine first aid trained and a multi-award-winning groomer, trained at Look North Grooming & Training Centre.

Alongside grooming, we offer licensed home boarding and daycare, dog walking, pet sitting and wedding dog chaperone services. Our home boarding and daycare are licensed by the local council, providing additional reassurance to our clients.

At Awesome Pride & Groom, dogs are never simply another appointment. We take the time to get to know them, build trust and provide patient, individual care. Our aim is to offer professional standards with a genuinely personal approach, giving owners peace of mind that their dogs are being cared for with kindness, experience and dedication.

As a City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 qualified, first aid trained and multi-award-winning groomer, I combine professional knowledge with genuine care. From grooming to licensed home boarding and daycare, my focus is on building trust and lasting relationships with both dogs and their owners.

My approach is centred around providing calm, peaceful and dog-focused care. I want every dog to feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while they are with me, so I take the time to understand their individual personality, needs and boundaries.

Working one-to-one allows me to adapt each appointment to the dog in front of me rather than expecting them to fit into a set routine. I use patience, reassurance and a gentle approach to make the grooming experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

For me, a successful groom isn’t just about the finished result. It’s about building trust and creating a positive experience so that dogs can feel increasingly happy and confident about coming back for their next visit.

I’m happy to groom dogs of all breeds, ages and coat types. Every client is assessed on an individual basis to ensure grooming is tailored to their needs, temperament and coat condition. The welfare of every dog is always my priority, and I work patiently to create a calm, positive experience. For everyone’s wellbeing, the safety of both the dog and the groomer will always come first when assessing and carrying out any groom.
