Why them
What makes us different
At Barking Pawfect, I do things differently — because I genuinely care. Every groom is approached with patience, understanding, and a true love for animals. I take the time to get to know your pet, working at their pace to make grooming a calm and positive experience. Whether they’re a nervous first-timer or a regular visitor, I use gentle handling and a stress-free approach tailored to their individual needs.
Approach
Our approach
I groom pets with kindness at the heart of every session — no conveyor belts, no rushing, just one-to-one care in a calm and welcoming space. My goal is simple: for every pet to leave feeling relaxed, happy, and looking absolutely pawfect.

Meet Sian Cram
3 years grooming
Hi, I am Sian the owner of Barking Pawfect. My grooming journey began on my birthday in October 2019 — a gift to myself and the start of a brand new chapter. What I thought would be a straightforward path took a few unexpected turns thanks to Covid, which slowed everything down. But I didn’t let that stop me. By 2021, I had completed my training, and while building my grooming business — yes, literally building the space from the ground up — I kept gaining hands-on experience where I originally trained. All the while, I was still teaching and raising my little boy. It was a whirlwind! In February 2023, I finally opened my doors — and I haven’t looked back since. Every day, I get to do what I love, surrounded by wagging tails and wonderful people.

Sian is absolutely amazing. I travel outside of my home town specifically for her because it is so worth it. My puppy has grown in so much confidence since being with her (although we are still working on the getting her not minding her nails being clipped part). My part also comes all the way from Doncaster with their two dogs because they had bad experiences with other groomers. Sian went at their pace and helped them to start overcoming their fears. She is the most patient groomer we have ever experienced. Thank you Sian and see you again next week!

My cocker spaniel has a very happy experience at Barking Pawfect. She can sometimes be a bit unsure of people, but Sian has made her feel relaxed and right at home. The finished grooming is beautiful and the price is very reasonable. Very pleased with this service, would highly recommend.
