I believe grooming should be about so much more than making a dog look beautiful. At Dreybury, every dog gets my full attention, with no busy salon enviroment. I take the time to understand each dog's coat, personality and individual needs and adapt every groom accordingly.
Approach
Our approach
I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to grooming. Every dog is different, so i adapt my handling and grooming methods to suit the individual. That might mean using a belly strap, keeping a dog on the floor if they feel happier, or simply lowering the grooming table to help them feel more comfortable. For me, its about finding what works best for that dog - whilst keeping them safe and comfortable.

Hi, I'm Becky! I opened Dreybury Dog Groomers in 2020 because I wanted to create a calm, quiet space where every dog gets my complete, one-to-one attention. I'm City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 qualified, canine first aid trained, and fully insured. Whether it's a nervous rescue needing extra patience or a bouncy puppy having their very first groom, I take the time to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and leaves looking their best.
I love what I do and it shows in the care I give to each and every dog that comes through my door.

I have an anxious Cocker spaniel and a puppy and Becky has been nothing but wonderful and giving him such confidence with grooming. She is patient, kind and very good to talk to and lets me stay during the groom which I think is very good of her. Her knowledge is incredible and her equipment is impressive. She's so quick and gentle and gives great results every time I've gone there! I travel from Bude to go to her because I've never met a groomer like her, she really cares for the dogs. Junior has gone for a very short fur cut this time as it starts to warm up and help keep hit the matts away as he is a water dog.

Have a 10 year old cavalier that has developed cognitive dysfunction and has anxiety issues from few years ago when we lost a 14 year old King charles spaniel, have always done my own grooming, but needed help with daily ear tangles etc...Dreybury were recommended to me by a friend who had my dogs litter brother, and know she wouldn't go just anywhere. Met groomer with my dog, she was happy to take him on. Pictures speak for themselves ...he even let her bath him too! Little do they know that his sister will be following, and their mum, who will be at Crufts next month then retiring with me she is now 12 years...

Fab full groom on our 3 Dogs! Becky did a fantastic job on our two Spaniels and one nervous Setter. They were smooth and evenly cut and smelled divine( for once). Normally they don't like being groomed but they bounced around happily . Thank you so much! We will definitely book again!

We went to DDG on a recommendation and although it was a bit of a distance from us it was certainly worth the drive. Our girls seemed to enjoy themselves and looked amazing. Sensible pricing too. The wife says we will be back so that will do for me 👍

I used Dreybury dog groomers for the first time, and was very happy with the ease of booking an appointment and how friendly Becky was. I dropped off Maggie, our 2 year old cockapoo, said how I would like her cut to be. When I picked her up, she was very relaxed, and looked gorgeous, just what I asked for. I will definitely be taking her back to Dreybury, very professional, very friendly service
