Why them

What makes us different

My unique combination of professional dog grooming and veterinary nursing experience. As a registered veterinary nurse with over 10 years of experience in veterinary practice, I have a strong understanding of canine health, behaviour and wellbeing, which I bring to every groom.

Approach

Our approach

My grooming approach is calm, patient and always centred around the individual dog. I believe in working with a dog rather than simply trying to get the groom finished, taking into account their age, temperament, previous grooming experiences and how they are feeling on the day. I use gentle handling, positive reassurance and take things at a pace the dog is comfortable with.

The groomer

Meet Natalie

4 years grooming

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2011 so have always worked with animals. I started having an interest in grooming during the covid pandemic when I started watching you tube videos and learning how to hand strip my border terrier Elsie. What started as a hobby turned into something more. I went on to complete a year-long vocational course and achieved an OCN Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming, combining my clinical knowledge with a new, hands-on way to support dogs and their wellbeing.

My pups first visit to the groomers and they look fantastic! I decided to go here because of other reviews, and after checking out the website to read about Nat. Nat has done a great job as you can see from the pictures, and she responded to queries timely. Both pups came home happy, looking cuter than ever! The facilities were clean, had all the mod cons and I even met Nat’s parents who were equally as lovely as Nat. Have booked in for another session in 8 weeks. I’d highly recommend. Thank you, Nat!

I have signed my puppy up for a 4-session puppy package to help her get used to the sights and smells of the groomers. Nat was so lovely with my puppy during her first session that she didn’t want to leave! It was great that Nat sent me a selection of videos and photos from my puppy’s session as well, so I could see how she got on. I am definitely looking forward to taking my puppy back for her next visit!

I’m so pleased with Nat’s groom today. From start to finish, she was so caring, patient, and genuinely lovely with my dog. Bear is a big baby and can be a little nervous, but Nat took the time to comfort and reassure him, which made such a difference 🤣 You can really tell she truly cares about the dogs she grooms. He came out smelling absolutely beautiful and looking so handsome — like a gorgeous baby again. The groom was done to a very high standard, and Bear was calm and happy when I picked him up. Hes shattered now! I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Nat to anyone looking for a professional, kind, and talented dog groomer. We’ll definitely be back!

NATS Grooming did an absolutely amazing job with Mojo, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Mojo came back looking spotless, smelling lovely, and clearly very relaxed, which tells me he was treated with real care and patience throughout his groom. The cut was neat and professional, with great attention to detail, and you can really see the pride taken in the work. Communication and booking were straightforward and friendly from start to finish, which made everything easy and stress free. I would highly recommend NATS Grooming to anyone, Mojo looked fantastic, and we will definitely be returning.

So pleased with the service Nat provided today! I have a nervous pooch who is no fan of grooming, and REALLY doesn't like his feet being touched. This has meant getting his nails clipped by groomers in the past has been challenging. Nat came recommended, and given her background as a veterinary nurse I was confident she'd have the knowledge of how best to approach grooming my pooch. Nat didn't dissapoint. My pooches nails and hair cut are both lovely, and he appeared MUCH less stressed post-groom than normal. I would happily recommend Nat, and we will certainly be returning for my pooches next groom! Thanks Nat.
