About The Adored Dog Spa
The Adored Dog Spa is an award-winning, one-to-one dog grooming salon in Daventry, created to offer a more personal and considered grooming experience. Every appointment is dedicated to one dog at a time, with no crates and no busy salon environment.
I offer full grooms, breed styling, hand stripping, deshedding, puppy introductions, Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning and a range of coat and skin treatments. I use professional-quality products and tailor each groom to the individual dog, their coat, lifestyle and what their owner wants.
I’m incredibly passionate about both the standard of my grooming and the experience dogs have while they’re with me. I regularly invest in further education and compete within the grooming industry because I never want to stop improving.

What makes us different
For me, grooming isn’t just about making a dog look nice. I care just as much about how they feel during the process.
Because I work one-to-one, I can really get to know each dog, learn their little quirks and build trust with them over time. I don’t believe every dog should be groomed in exactly the same way, so I adapt my handling, timing and approach depending on the dog in front of me.
I’m also a huge perfectionist when it comes to the finished groom! I continually invest in education, compete in grooming competitions and keep developing my skills so I can offer the highest standard possible. I want owners to feel confident that their dog is being treated with care while still leaving looking absolutely gorgeous.

Our approach
My approach is patient, individual and centred around the dog in front of me. I don’t rush dogs through appointments or expect every dog to cope with grooming in exactly the same way.
I use kind, appropriate handling and pay attention to body language throughout the groom, giving dogs time to settle and adapting where needed. Being one-to-one also means there aren’t multiple dogs coming and going around them, which creates a much calmer environment.
Alongside this, I’m very detail-focused with my grooming. I want every dog to leave with a finish I’m proud of, while keeping practicality, coat condition and the owner’s preferences in mind. The goal is always a groom that looks beautiful without compromising the dog’s comfort or welfare

I’ve been grooming for around 6 years, working across several different salons before taking the leap and opening my own, The Adored Dog Spa.
I absolutely love what I do and I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my grooms! I’m always learning, competing and continuing my education so I can keep improving both my skills and the experience I give every dog.
The Adored Dog Spa is a one-to-one, calm and crate-free salon, so every dog has my full attention for their appointment. I really value getting to know each dog individually, working at their pace and building a relationship with them over time.
Owners can expect honest advice, lots of care and attention to detail, and a groom tailored to their dog rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. My aim is for dogs to leave looking gorgeous, but just as importantly, to have had the most positive and comfortable grooming experience possible.

I only have positive things to say about Georgia and The Adored Dog Spa. My pup has now been three times, and from the very first appointment Georgia was completely transparent and honest about how he got on, explaining where he had struggled and even giving me tips to work on at home. Rather than pushing ahead with a full groom before he was ready, she recommended additional puppy groom sessions to help build his confidence and ensure the experience remained positive and not overwhelming for him. I was genuinely surprised to read some of the comments in a previous review, as they are completely at odds with my own experience. Georgia has always put my pup’s welfare first, even when that has meant missing out on a higher-priced appointment because she felt he wasn’t quite ready. She has moved appointments on particularly hot days to make sure the dogs are comfortable and cool, and regularly works additional days to accommodate all of the lovely dogs needing appointments. Throughout, she has been honest, professional and friendly, and my pup absolutely adores her. My mum, my nan and I all use Georgia, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer. The one-to-one service she provides really is that extra touch that makes her stand out from the crowd. I genuinely wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else and would give more than five stars if I could!

Our Hawkstone had the best time with Georgia!! 🥺 She was everything we wanted for his first grooming appointment, caring, patient, loving and her salon is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly tidy!! 🩷We cannot recommend The Adored Dog Spa enough!! And we will always be coming back for all of Hawkstone’s grooms in future, thank you for looking after our boy🩷

Basically I wouldn't go anywhere else! Georgia is so good with Jessie who can be anxious at times but Georgia takes her time and works to how Jessie is feeling. Everytime Jessie goes for her groom she is better everytime at me leaving her and doing as Georgia asks. Also the cut Georgia gives her is perfect everytime. Highly recommend as I said I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I can’t recommend Georgia enough—she’s truly the best groomer I’ve ever had! She listened so carefully to exactly what I wanted, even when I wasn’t 100% sure myself, and I trusted her completely… and she absolutely delivered. Evie always comes back looking stunning, smelling amazing, and so happy. She clearly adores Georgia and even enjoys her little photoshoots afterwards! Honestly, I wouldn’t take Evie anywhere else—Georgia is just incredible. 🩷🐾
